UVU Culinary Arts: Brooke's Journey from Venice to the Vatican
My Culinary Trip with Acanela Expeditions was worth every Penny! I personally have traveled to many different countries prior to this trip. As most of my trips have been solo backpacking trips I was a little nervous to be in a guided group. I feared being in a tourist trap the entire time, and not being allowed to venture out on my own. My experience couldn’t be anything further from my fears. Acanela Expeditions had connections with people and places I could have never found on my own. In fact, many of the cities we visited I had been to before but still felt as though I was visiting a new city. My dreams came true being able to learn to cook on a real Italian Farm To Table Restaurant that I would have never even knew existed. We were able to attend many food tours quickly being served some of the most famous foods that normally would have long lines! I loved my Culinary Trip to Italy and would highly recommend that everyone visit!

Feeling extremely blessed to be having the experiences I thought I could only dream of.
Today we harvested our own vegetables, milked some cows, and made our own sustainable meal. This Farm to Table restaurant is mind-blowing with their ability to utilize what they have.
Spent the morning sitting in the windowsill of our chic European hotel, eating cherries from the local market, and enjoying the view of Rome.
Theres no better way to learn Italian food than from the Italians themselves!
