Khamsum Chorten 

In the Punakha Valley, you can partake in a short, steep climb up to the Khamsum Chorten. Start your journey in Punakha town and drive 30 minutes to that base of this hike. Next, you’ll start your 45-minute walk through rice fields and other stunning views to the Khamsum Chorten. If you choose to descend into the Sonagasa village and Punakha Dzong, add a couple of hours to your trip. Enjoy the trail by the river and farmland along the way. Nabji Korphu Trek

Depending on how many stops you make along the way and your pace, this trek can be completed in either 6 or 7 days. Start your journey from Trongsa Dzongkhag and ascend into the stunning landscapes filled with rich biodiversity. 

 

Taktsang Goenba 

Located in Paro, this moderate 5-6 hour hike leads up to the Taktsang Goenba monastery. From the parking lot, the trail starts wide at the base of the mountain. Jomolhari Laya Gasa Trek
