Uganda is a small country that regardless of its size, it still gives you a full bucket list experience. 1. Gorilla Trekking Tour

Uganda contains the largest population of gorillas and is home to over half of all of the gorillas in all of Africa! This opportunity can only be done in three countries and Uganda happens to be the cheapest one available. Gorilla Trekking is accessible in Uganda’s Mgahinga National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. 2. Straddle the Equator

Uganda happens to be one of the few nations in the world that lies at the heart of the planet. Although the line is invisible, the equator that divides the earth into two halves runs through Uganda. This is the perfect photo opportunity and an easy lunch stop at a few cement circle landmarks located in Entebbe, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Kayabwe, Mpigi district about 72 kilometers.

3. Runaway to Ssese Islands

Ssese Island is a hidden gem in the world. It takes an airplane, a boat, and a ferry to reach however, the island itself makes it worth it. Ssese has relaxing sandy-beaches, scenic hikes, horseback riding, and fishing. It’s one of Uganda’s favorite places to kick back and enjoy.

Queen Elizabeth National park is known for its biodiversity. 7. Meet the Karamojong Warriors

Visit East Africa’s largest traditional village where you can sleep and lay beneath the night time stars. Karamojong is a lost tribe of fierce warriors. This is a place that has not been affected by modern times. Its culture has several herders who work hard for their women and cattle. This is one of the most authentic locations you can go to learn about their culture, religion, and civilization.

There is no better place to learn about Uganda than its market places. Uganda represents itself with products such as being the second-largest exporter of Coffee in Africa and sells coffee beans, bananas, and delicious tomatoes. The market place is known for having inexpensive materials to buy such as clothes, bags, shoes, and more. Vendors will constantly be asking for your attention to attract you to their booth but none of it is ever to annoy you.

 10. Enjoy an Exotic Safari Drive 

Uganda contains 10 national parks. All of which have several endangered species. You can see the rarest birds, climbing-tree lions, large hippos, and several other kinds of wildlife, sometimes only a few feet while on your drive!
