Afternoon: Welcome to Colombia, a country bordering the beautiful Caribbean Sea and central to the heart of South America. We will start our journey through this culturally rich country, in the beautiful northern port city of Cartagena.
Dinner: After a relaxing first day along the Caribbean coast, we’ll feast on a traditional welcome dinner as we learn about the country’s rich culture & delicious cuisine.

Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel
Morning: Today we will make our way to some of Cartagena’s top attractions. Such as, the San Felipe Castle, the Rosario Islands, and the Clocktower or Torre del Reloj.
Lunch: For lunch, we will journey over to the Bazurto market – filled with a variety of Colombian fruits, vegetables, seafood, and meats. There will be tons of options to choose from as local vendors fill this space.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, we will venture over to the neighborhoods of San Diego and Santo Domingo. Checking out some significant sites, such as, Plaza de los Coches and Parque Bolivar.
Dinner: We will end the evening in Cartagena’s bohemian neighborhood of Getsemaní, where we will have the opportunity to indulge in some more traditional Colombian food.

Morning & Afternoon: Today we are diving into the crystal blue Caribbean, where we will be embarking on a kayaking trip to Isla Barú. On this kayaking expedition, you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with exotic birds and sea creatures. After vigorating journey to Isla Baru and back, you’ll have the opportunity to relax beachside at playa blanca.
