Day 1: Buenos Aires, Argentina
see details >
Arrival Airport: Ministro Pistarini International Airport, Ezeiza (EZE)
Welcome to Argentina! Described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires is a beautiful city that proudly embraces its nickname and shows off plenty of its own culture! Explore traditional European architecture (cobbled streets lined with rustic outdoor cafes), local antique and artisanal markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping, and the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open “parrilla” (barbeque) in the air. But above all, Buenos Aires is known as the home of tango. Be sure to enjoy a traditional dinner-tango show, and explore the colorful San Telmo and Recoleta neighborhoods.
After you've arrived and settled in at the guesthouse, you will have the rest of the day to enjoy this vibrant city.

Depart the hotel at 8:30 a.m. with your guide. You'll feel the impact that tango has had on the neighborhood of La Boca as you walk along Caminito Street and enjoy the dancers and souvenir shops. You'll also see the mythical Boca Juniors soccer stadium.
Later, you can contemplate the modernization of the city while traveling along Madero Port and its exclusive docks, full of excellent restaurants and large offices. You'll pass through the Retiro neighborhood and move on to see Palermo and its most exclusive residential area before finally arriving at Recoleta. Once there, you'll see the final resting place of Eva Peron, “Evita,” and wander through Recoleta Cemetery where she is to be found.
This evening, you will be able to explore the city's nightlife on your own, or you can join us for an evening of dancing.
