Arrival Airport: Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS)
Welcome to the beautiful Portuguese Capital, Lisbon. Lisbon is full of vibrant colors, rich architecture, and a perfect year-round climate. It comes as no surprise that it’s one of Europe’s most prominent tourist destinations. When visiting the “city of seven hills” you are sure to take a journey through history. From exploring the cobblestoned streets to relaxing along the Portuguese coastline, this tour will fully immerse you into the Iberian culture.
With getting adjusted to the time change, we will start off our afternoon by settling into the charming capital where we’ll start off our stay with an introductory Portuguese language lesson. Afterwards, we’ll explore the narrow cobblestone streets and small boutiques situated around our hotel. We will conclude our night with a traditional welcome dinner at a Casa do Fado (Portuguese Music House) within walking distance or a short tram ride from the hotel.
Accomodation: Lx Boutique Hotel, Lisbon or similar
Day 2: Lisbon City

We will spend the morning exploring Baixia, Lisbon’s central and dynamic district on our own. Ravished by an earthquake in 1755, Lisbon’s city center is a mixture of modern-day amenities and traditional neolithic architecture. Connecting all of Lisbon’s historic districts, this is the perfect place to get a sense of what Lisbon is all about. We will start off our morning by exploring all the boutique shops and vendors that cover the plazas.
In the afternoon, we will take a ride up the Elevador Santa Justa, an industrial-styled liftt, or the Gloria funicular, where we’ll get a breathtaking view of the city. After, we will make our way down to the Tagus riverfront, where we’ll hop on a two-hour sunset cruise, provided with drinks and picturesque views.

After breakfast, we will set out to explore the oldest and arguably the most charming district in Lisbon, Alfama. Alfama is known for its winding cobblestone streets, ancient cathedrals, and terracotta decorated homes. Travelers come in droves to bear witness to the neighborhood's famed charm (and some street art).
Our Alfama tour will be followed by a visit to Lisbon’s ancient Sao Jorge Castelo (castle), a landmark that has stood since the 11th century, and hosts a beautiful overlook of the city. There, we will hopefully catch a glimpse of sunset before we make our way down on the yellow tram to enjoy an evening out on the town, returning to our hotel later on.
